Lynch Hotels emerges from examinership

One of the top names in the tourist sector, the Lynch Hotel Group, has emerged successfuly from examinership. The seven hotel chain, which has 500 employees, says that all of its properties will remain intact and will continue trading normally. The group, which operates in major tourist areas of the west, has received a positive outcome at a confirmation hearing in the High Court.

The hearing took place after the submission of a report by the examiner , Michael McAteer of Grant Thornton, to the court.
The chain had gone into examinership voluntarily in order to protect its business and its staff.
Its managing director Michael B. Lynch said he was thankful to its business partners, suppliers, staff members and loyal customers for their continued support and understanding through the process.
"We look forward to continuing to offer the best value for money in the Irish hotel industry for many years to come," he said ,"and continuing to grow our core competencies in the leisure, conference, wedding and event markets."
