Ann Fitzgerald, Chief Executive of the National Consumer Agency has reminded credit intermediaries of the statutory requirement to display the credit intermediary authorisation in a prominent position. "In the interests of transparency and to enable consumers to make an informed decision as to finance arrangements, it is imperative that the Authorisation be displayed prominently," she said. "A public register of all current credit intermediaries is available on the National Consumer Agency website and I would urge all consumers to check this prior to doing business with a credit intermediary," she added.
